Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Payable Accountant, based in El Obour with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Payable Accountant will handle day-to-day finance and accounting tasks related to vendor payments. Responsibilities include verifying and reconciling invoices, preparing payments, managing vendor accounts, assisting in audits, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and providing regular reports on accounts payable activities.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and tools, as well as Microsoft Excel and other relevant programs
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and time management to meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with vendors and internal teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus
  • Previous experience in accounts payable or related finance roles is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical or distribution industry is considered a strong advantage
