The QC Engineer is responsible for the independent verification and testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished French fries' products to ensure they meet all specified quality, sensory, and safety standards. This role focuses on product-based inspection, laboratory testing, and providing definitive data on product conformance, serving as a critical checkpoint before product release.

  1. Product Verification & Laboratory Testing:


• Execute the sampling and testing schedule for all raw materials (potatoes), in-process, and finished goods based on established AQL (Acceptable Quality Level).


• Perform precise laboratory and physical tests on French fries, including (Finished Product Analysis, Oil Quality Monitoring, Sensory Evaluation, Packaging Verification)


• Ensure all laboratory equipment is calibrated and maintained.

  1. Final Product Release & Hold Authority:


• Analyze all QC data and inspection results against product specifications.


• Make an independent decision to recommend release or reject finished product batches to the QC Team Leader.


• Issue and manage formal hold notices for non-conforming products based on objective test data.

  1. Data Analysis & Reporting:


• Compile, analyze, and trend QC data to identify shifts in product quality.


• Generate the Certificate of Analysis (CoA) for finished products as required.


• Prepare daily and weekly QC reports on key quality metrics for the QC Team Leader and management.

  1. Non-Conformance & Customer Complaint Investigation:


• Lead the initial product-based investigation into internal failures and external customer complaints.


• Provide laboratory findings and product evidence to the QC Team Leader to support root cause analysis.

  1. Specification & Standard Upholding:


• Ensure all QC activities are performed against the most current raw material, packaging, and finished product specifications.


• Uphold and enforce the standards set by the quality control department.

  1. Audit & Compliance Readiness:


• Maintain all laboratory records, test results, and calibration logs in a state of perpetual audit readiness for internal, external, and customer audits.
