Business Analytics Lead

We are looking for a Business Analytics Lead who is highly proactive and able to turn raw data into clear insights, patterns, and recommendations. This role requires someone who doesn't wait for questions, someone who identifies trends, connects the dots, runs correlations, and translates data into actions that move the business forward. You will lead the analytics function and work closely with Product, Growth, and Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the Business Analytics team; set clear priorities and processes.
  • Proactively explore data to uncover trends, root causes, anomalies, and opportunities.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses including correlation studies, cohort analysis, funnel diagnostics, and retention patterns.
  • Build dashboards, KPIs, and automated reporting frameworks that enable fast decision-making.
  • Partner cross-functionally to provide data-driven recommendations for product improvements, revenue optimization, and growth experiments.
  • Own experimentation support: A/B test design, tracking, interpretation, and recommendations.
  • Ensure data accuracy, governance, and documentation across all analytical assets.
  • Present insights to senior management with clear storytelling and actionable solutions.

Requirements

  • 7 - 10 years in data/business analytics with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
  • Strong ability to read, interpret, and connect data points into meaningful insights.
  • Proven experience running correlation analysis, segmentation, funnel and cohort analysis.
  • Advanced SQL skills and hands-on use of BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau, Metabase, etc.).
  • Proactive mindset with a track record of independently identifying opportunities and risks.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience in product-led or marketplace environments is preferred.
  • Experience using Python/R for deeper statistical analysis.
  • Background in growth analytics or forecasting models.
  • Experience building or scaling analytics teams.
