Prepare and develop technical and commercial proposals for electrical projects in accordance with client requirements and industry standards.

  • Analyze tender documents, specifications, and drawings to determine project scope and identify key deliverables.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to gather necessary data for accurate bid preparation.
  • Estimate material, labor, and equipment costs for electrical systems, ensuring competitive and compliant proposals.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and evaluate technical offers.
  • Ensure all proposals are submitted within deadlines and comply with company policies and client specifications.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and technical clarifications as required.
  • Support contract negotiations by providing technical input and value engineering solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of bids, proposals, and awarded contracts for future reference and analysis.
  • Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities to enhance proposal strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in electrical bids, proposals, or tendering within the engineering or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in preparing technical and commercial proposals for electrical projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills for effective coordination with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and relevant engineering software.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with local and regional market practices in the infrastructure, energy, or industrial sectors.
