Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop security architecture solutions aligned with business goals, applicable cybersecurity regulatory frameworks and industry good practices.
  • Conduct security assessments, evaluate risks and provide business relevant recommendations that drive security posture and reduction in threat exposure across infrastructure layers such as networks, systems, applications, data and users
  • Define technical security reference architectures for on-premises environments.
  • Define reference architectures and security blueprints across multiple domains including – network security, infrastructure security, data protection and encryption etc.
  • Execute threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews for systems, focusing on strengthening security posture and reduce exposure to cyber threats.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate security architecture into technology solutions that drive security-by-design solution for clients' businesses.
  • Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies to enhance organizational defenses.
  • Evaluate and recommend modern security technologies and platforms to support client transformation journeys, including Zero Trust architectures, and advanced threat protection.
  • Stay current with evolving threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements (such as SAMA CSF, CBE Cybersecurity Framework, National Cybersecurity Authority guidelines, NIST SP-800, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Up to 8 years of experience in IT security, with a strong focus on security architecture.
  • In-depth knowledge of network security, identity and access management, encryption, and endpoint protection.
  • Experience with on-premise security architecture.
  • Experience designing and operationalizing security architecture for financial services.
  • Hands-on experience with architecture design and/or transformation covering security monitoring, network architecture, and vulnerability management.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools (e.g., container security, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, or AWS Certified Security – Specialty are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
