About the Role

We are looking for an experienced
Control Systems Engineer
in the
Completion & Commissioning
discipline. You will act as a
technical leader
, responsible for defining, designing, and delivering complex control system architectures across BPCS, Safety, and Fire & Gas systems. You will support project execution, provide technical expertise, and guide multidisciplinary engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define system architecture for BPCS, Safety, and Fire & Gas systems according to client requirements and international standards.
  • Lead technical design, resolve engineering issues, and support project teams throughout execution.
  • Prepare technical requisitions, system specifications, I/O lists, philosophies, and interface documentation.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of control engineering deliverables and manage vendor coordination.
  • Participate in engineering review meetings, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, F&G mapping, constructability studies, FAT, SAT, and ISAT.
  • Support construction and commissioning teams regarding technical queries.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant instrumentation, control standards, and design codes.
  • Mentor junior engineers and ensure the quality of discipline deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum
    10 years' experience
    in control systems engineering, preferably in the
    oil & gas sector
    .
  • Proven experience in production facilities engineering, construction support, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup.
  • Strong knowledge of ISA, ANSI, NEMA, NEC, API, IEC, and ATEX standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency (MS Office, Navis 3D, SPI/Intools).
  • Experience with LCI systems, functional safety, and IECEx CoPC is a strong advantage.
