Role Description

As part of Egypt branch's growth, we are hiring a Lead Engineer - Firefighting & Fire Alarm to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of design engineers and draughtsmen focused on fire protection and fire alarm systems.
  • Oversee project delivery for design tasks: ensure technical accuracy, timely delivery, and commercial viability.
  • Set and maintain quality standards for design outputs estimates; ensure compliance with NFPA and local regulations (SEC, HCIS, SAF, SWCC).
  • Allocate resources, set priorities, and monitor workloads across multiple projects to meet milestones and contractual deadlines.
  • Review and approve final design packages, hydraulic calculations, specifications, and BOQs prior to submission.
  • Ensure accurate and timely handover of design packages.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years' experience in fire protection design, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Proven experience leading design teams, delivering multiple concurrent projects, and liaising with clients/consultants.
  • Deep technical knowledge of sprinkler systems, detection & alarm systems, suppression systems, hydraulic calculations and relevant codes (NFPA).
  • Strong Communications Skills.
