CAD operator Job Description

: Skilled CAD operator to support our design and engineering teams by creating accurate technical drawings and plans using (CAD) software:

  • Experience:

1–3 years of experience in a CAD drafting role – Mechanical and Electrical preferred.
- Software Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of other CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Revit, MicroStation) is a plus.
- Technical Skills:

Understanding of technical drawings.
- Other Skills:

Attention to detail, time management, good communication.

Design Engineer Job Descpriton:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and layout of fire protection systems including sprinkler, standpipe, fire alarm, suppression, and smoke control systems.
  • Develop detailed fire protection drawings and calculations using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and hydraulic calculation tools (e.g., HASS, and PIPENET).
  • Interpret and apply relevant codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, SBC, IFC, FM).
  • Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate fire protection design with other disciplines (architectural, mechanical, electrical).
  • Support risk assessments and fire hazard analyses when required.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or related field.
