Role Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a full-time, on-site position located in Cairo. The role involves designing and developing mechanical components and systems for confectionery and bakery production lines. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed designs, optimizing existing machine designs, utilizing CAD software, collaborating with product and engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations. The engineer will also participate in prototype development and testing processes to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Design Engineering and Product Design
  • Strong expertise in Machine Design and Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools
  • Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and material selection is a plus
  • Prior experience in the confectionery or bakery equipment industry is advantageous
