Job Summary

The Contract Engineer is responsible for managing all contractual aspects of construction projects, including preparing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with project requirements, and coordinating between technical, financial, and legal teams. The role supports project execution by ensuring that all contract terms are followed and that risks are properly managed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and manage project contracts.
  • Monitor contract execution and ensure compliance with terms, conditions, and project timelines.
  • Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings to identify contractual requirements.
  • Prepare claims in accordance with project contract.
  • Manage contractual correspondence with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Identify and analyze contractual risks and prepare periodic reports for upper management.
  • Coordinate with legal, financial, and technical departments to ensure proper contract implementation.
  • Support project teams in resolving contractual issues and disputes.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation of all contract-related materials.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience
    in contract management within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of
    FIDIC
    and standard construction contract forms.
  • Solid experience in contract drafting, review, and analysis.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and reporting skills.
