Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Backend Developer specializing in Laravel. The position is based in Cairo, Egypt. The Senior Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems for web applications using Laravel, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests. Additional responsibilities include implementing data storage solutions, writing reusable, testable, and efficient code, and collaborating with front-end developers and product teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Back-End Web Development with a focus on Laravel and advanced Software Development skills
  • Proficiency in Programming, including expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Background in Computer Science or equivalent field to understand algorithms, data structures, and system design
  • Experience in designing and implementing APIs and managing database structures
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git
  • Bonus: Familiarity with front-end technologies, DevOps practices, or cloud-based services
