About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Python
and modern backend technologies to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance applications that adhere to best practices in software engineering.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, efficient, and secure solutions that power our business and enhance user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications using Django and RESTful APIs.
  • Apply SOLID principles and design patterns to ensure scalable, maintainable, and clean architecture.
  • Write unit tests and ensure code quality through peer reviews and automated testing.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security for high-traffic environments.
  • Collaborate with front-end engineers, product managers, and QA to deliver features end-to-end.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and testing.
  • Work with Docker and container orchestration tools to ensure seamless deployment processes.
  • Leverage PostgreSQL and Redis for efficient data storage, caching, and retrieval.
  • Deploy and manage applications on Cloud platforms.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and help drive technology decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development with a focus on backend systems.
  • Strong expertise in Python and Django.
  • Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL and Redis for database and caching solutions.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms.
  • Solid understanding of unit testing, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize performance at scale.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of asynchronous frameworks (e.g., Celery, FastAPI).
