Role Description:

-Design and implement microservices architecture to support compute, storage, networking, user management, and billing functions.

-Develop and enforce best practices for service modularity, versioning, inter-service communication, and service discovery.

-Implement authentication, authorization, and audit logging mechanisms in line with enterprise security standards.

-Optimize database design and queries (SQL/NoSQL) for performance and reliability.

-Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance platform reliability and scalability.

-Optimize service performance, resilience, and scalability using caching, asynchronous queues, and rate limiting.

-Develop RESTful and gRPC APIs for internal services and customer interfaces.

-Collaborate with cloud architects to align backend services with infrastructure layers.

-Own the lifecycle of backend services: from design and development to testing, deployment, and monitoring.

-Integrate backend services with orchestration and automation frameworks (e.g., Kubernetes).

-Work closely with frontend and UI/UX teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.

-Work with DevOps engineers to containerize and deploy services using CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes.

-Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews and system design sessions.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

4+ years of backend development experience, with strong exposure to microservices architecture is a Must.

-Strong proficiency in backend frameworks such as Express JS , NestJS.

Experience with containerized environments and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

-Knowledge of cloud-native concepts, API gateways, service meshes, and distributed systems.

-Experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or etcd.

-Strong knowledge of REST, gRPC, OAuth2/OpenID, and API gateways.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.

-Experience with monitoring, observability, and performance tuning of backend systems.

-Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud environments
