Key Responsibilities

  • Review and coordinate
    mechanical shop drawings, design drawings, and as-built drawings
    .
  • Prepare and review
    material submittals, technical reports, and method statements
    .
  • Coordinate with design consultants, clients, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with
    project specifications, international standards, and local codes
    .
  • Support the site team by providing
    technical clarifications and engineering solutions
    .
  • Participate in
    value engineering, cost optimization
    , and design modifications when required.
  • Attend
    technical meetings
    with consultants and subcontractors.
  • Review and approve
    supplier and subcontractor technical documents
    .
  • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation and drawing logs.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers and draftsmen in the technical office.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree
    in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5-7 years of experience
    in technical office
  • Strong knowledge of
    HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems
    .
  • Proficiency in
    AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite
    (knowledge of BIM is a plus).
  • Familiarity with
    ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, and local building codes
    .
  • Excellent technical reporting and documentation skills.
