Envision Employment Solutions is currently hiring a Senior BI Analyst on behalf of one of our partners, a leader in the retail Motor Vehicles field.

About the Role:

You will work with cross-functional stakeholders in this position to understand business requirements, define key performance indicators, and set design reporting strategies. Your daily responsibilities include working with business and technology teams to design and document business processes, dashboards, alerts, and reports and answering Ad-hoc business questions using data insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize various tools and data analysis techniques to manipulate and analyze complicated, high-dimensional data from many sources.
  • Understand business needs to gather, analyze, interpret, and communicate data that informs stakeholders at all levels to make data-informed decisions.
  • Build dynamic dashboards and visual aids to communicate insights and deliver reports for key stakeholders.
  • Keep an eye on the installation KPIs and assess any discrepancies to take appropriate action
  • Monitor goal progress and ensure that the company is on the right track.
  • In complicated data sets, recognize, examine, and evaluate any trends or patterns.
  • Find and describe the potential for new process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot the reports and reporting database environment.
  • Create logical and physical data models for reporting and analytics use cases, using best practices to ensure high data quality, optimal performance, and reduced redundancy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related technical field or equivalent work.
  • 1 to 3 years of working experience as a BI Analyst
  • Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts.
  • Have data manipulation skills and experience in identifying numerical trends.
  • Strong knowledge of Advanced SQL  and complex queries and query optimization.
  • Experienced with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
  • Experienced in Data Warehousing Concepts, especially BigQuery
  • Enjoy solving problems and simplifying complicated challenges.
