Junior Officer – Business Development
Location:
Giza, Egypt
Job Purpose
The Junior Business Development Specialist supports the growth and expansion of the company by assisting in client acquisition, market research, and relationship management. This role provides foundational business development support while gaining exposure to strategic sales and client engagement in the design and furniture industry.
Main Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
-Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with dealers, distributors, contractors, and key B2B clients.
-Update and maintain accurate client information.
Business Development Support
-Support the identification of new business opportunities within the Egyptian market and regional markets (UAE / GCC).
-Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify potential growth areas.
-Prepare basic proposals, quotations, and presentations for clients with guidance from senior team members.
Sales & Negotiation Support
-Participate in client meetings and support negotiations as required.
-Assist in tracking sales leads and ensuring follow-ups are conducted promptly.
Reporting & Analytics
-Maintain records of client interactions, sales progress, and business development metrics.
-Support senior team members in preparing reports and dashboards for management review.
Key Performance Indicators (SMART KPIs)
-Client engagement effectiveness – Contribute to maintaining and strengthening client relationships with timely follow-ups.
-Lead generation and business support – Support the team in identifying new business opportunities and assisting with follow-ups to nurture potential clients.
-Proposal and presentation support – Ensure proposals, quotations, and presentations are delivered accurately and on time.
-CRM data accuracy – Maintain 100% accurate and up-to-date client records.
-Market research insights – Provide actionable insights from market trends and competitor analysis to support business development strategies.
-Learning & development – Demonstrate growth in business development knowledge and processes through on-the-job learning.
Language Proficiency:
-Fluent in English (spoken and written).
-Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
Educational Qualification:
-Recent graduate in Interior Design, Hospitality, or relevant fields.
-Any additional business or sales certifications are a plus.
Experience:
-Fresh graduates or up to 1–2 years of relevant internship/work experience in business development, sales, or client management.
