We are hiring a Merchandiser. In this role, you will drive buying and sourcing for private label ranges, develop assortment and collection plans, and align purchasing with market trends. You will manage budgets, inventory, and sales ratios while ensuring cost efficiency and profitability. Your impact will be measured through improved stock performance, optimized profit planning, and effective in-season management.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute range, assortment, and buy plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct buying and sourcing for private label collections, integrating latest market trends and sportswear updates.
  • Manage purchase budgets, sales ratios, and in-season performance to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs including sales, intake, gross profit, and stock to identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee inventory and stock turn performance, implementing corrective actions where needed.
  • Build profit planning strategies to support business plan targets and financial goals.
  • Coordinate with suppliers on fabric and design requirements, ensuring timely collection planning.
  • Conduct post-seasonal reviews and apply learnings to future planning cycles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in category management, merchandise planning, or buying.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrics, materials, footwear, and sportswear product trends.
  • Proven expertise in budget management, inventory planning, and profit optimization.
  • Analytical skills with ability to interpret and act on sales and KPI data.
  • Experience building range plans and open-to-buy strategies.
  • Excellent supplier coordination and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and planning tools; strong communication in English.
