Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Senior Application Support Engineer located in Cairo, Egypt. The Senior Application Support Engineer will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support to resolve application-related issues, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring system stability and performance. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex problems, implementing solutions to improve system functionality, and managing escalations to meet service level agreements (SLAs).

Qualifications

  • Technical support and troubleshooting expertise, especially in application-related systems
  • Strong knowledge of system performance monitoring and root cause analysis
  • Experience with software development processes and IT systems management
  • Familiarity with database management and query optimization
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Prior experience in the education technology field is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
