"Engineering Manager"

𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞:

The Engineering & Projects Manager will be responsible for leading and supervising all engineering functions across the facility.

This includes managing maintenance operations to ensure maximum equipment reliability, and leading engineering projects from concept to successful completion — on time, within budget, and in full compliance with GMP and safety standards.

𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:

  1. Maintenance Management

·      Supervise and control all mechanical, electrical, and utility maintenance activities.

·      Establish and implement effective preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

·      Monitor equipment performance, efficiency, reliability, and downtime. (OEE and KPI)

·      Coordinate closely with the operations team to align maintenance schedules with operational needs.

·      Ensure all maintenance activities comply with GMP, safety, and quality standards.

  1. Projects Management

·      Lead engineering projects from design through execution and qualification.

·      Prepare and manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.

·      Identify and mitigate potential risks or deviations during project execution.

·      Ensure projects comply with pharmaceutical industry standards (GMP, FDA, EMA, WHO).

·      Provide continuous updates on project progress, challenges, and technical solutions.

·      Optimize resources for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery.

  1. Leadership & Development

·      Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, technicians, and project staff.

·      Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and safety within the department.

𝐣𝐨𝐛 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭:

·      Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).

·      Minimum 15 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in managerial roles.

·      Proven record in leading and delivering engineering projects from initiation to completion.

·      Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and utility systems.

·      Previous experience in at least one pharmaceutical project is a must.

·      Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

·      Proficiency in project management and maintenance software.

·      Comprehensive knowledge of AutoCAD
