As an international HR consultancy, we are supporting our client — a globally recognized fashion brand with an extensive retail network — in expanding its quality leadership within its Egypt-based production operations. Our client collaborates with a diverse portfolio of manufacturing partners in the region and is committed to delivering high-quality, sustainably produced garments to its worldwide customers.

Role Overview

The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee all quality processes across the brand's Egypt production base. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring product excellence, supplier compliance, and the continuous improvement of production standards across multiple manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall quality assurance strategy for Egypt-based production.
  • Ensure all manufacturing partners comply with the brand's quality, sustainability, and compliance standards.
  • Oversee in-line and final product inspections, audits, and root-cause analyses.
  • Manage and guide on-site QA teams, providing regular training and performance oversight.
  • Coordinate with global headquarters, merchandising, product development, and sourcing teams.
  • Review technical packs and ensure smooth sample-to-production transitions.
  • Identify production risks and implement corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA).
  • Maintain detailed reporting and provide continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Support new supplier onboarding and evaluate factory capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in apparel quality assurance, ideally within a global fashion or retail brand.
  • Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, knit/woven production, and quality systems.
  • Experience managing multiple suppliers and production facilities in Egypt or similar markets.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to liaise effectively with global teams and factory partners.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Previous experience working with European or UK fashion brands
  • Strong knowledge of AQL standards, quality systems, and customer technical requirements
  • Advanced level of English (written and spoken)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed
