Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Communication Engineer based in Alexandria. The Communication Engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting marine communication and navigation systems. Daily tasks will include conducting technical evaluations, providing support for telecommunications systems, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role also involves offering client support and performing on-site diagnostics to resolve technical issues efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and providing technical support for communication systems
  • Knowledge of telecommunications systems and Voice over IP (VoIP)
  • Experience in network design and implementation
  • Ability to perform diagnostics and technical evaluations in on-site environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with marine communication equipment and IACS regulations is a plus
