Export Sales Executive (Africa & MENA)

Location: Cairo, Egypt (with required travel)

Department: Export

Reports to: Export Manager

Role Summary

The Export Sales Executive will be responsible for driving the company's growth in international markets across Africa and the MENA region. The role includes identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and strengthening relationships with existing distributors to achieve the company's export objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new export markets and business opportunities.

  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with distributors and key international clients.

  • Communicate professionally with customers through email, phone calls, online meetings, and market visits.

  • Prepare, submit, and follow up on quotations and commercial offers.

  • Negotiate prices, quantities, payment terms, and delivery conditions (Incoterms).

  • Prepare and implement export sales plans to achieve monthly and annual targets.

  • Coordinate closely with the export logistics and internal coordination teams to ensure smooth and timely shipments.

  • Follow up on payments and coordinate with the Accounting department to ensure collections.

  • Represent the company at local and international trade exhibitions to promote products and expand the customer base.

  • Submit periodic performance reports and recommend actions to enhance export performance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in export sales within the food or FMCG industry.

  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English; French is considered a strong advantage.

  • Proven negotiation and deal-closing abilities.

  • Solid understanding of international trade procedures, Incoterms, and export documentation.

  • Strong analytical and market research skills, with proficiency in Excel and CRM systems.

  • Willingness to travel internationally and represent the company; a valid passport is required.
