Job Purpose:

To lead and manage all electrical technical office activities related to infrastructure projects, ensuring design accuracy, compliance with project specifications, and effective coordination between technical and site teams to achieve project objectives within scope, budget, and timeline. The role involves overseeing all technical office functions, including design and document review, shop drawings, material submittals, quantity surveying, variations, and invoicing, while providing technical support to site teams and ensuring timely, high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1-     Study and analyze project contract documents (time schedule, design drawings, BOQ, specifications, etc.) to ensure full project compliance.

2-     Supervise and manage the electrical technical office team across all infrastructure projects.

3-     Review, check, and approve all electrical shop drawings, material submittals, and design documents before submission to the consultant.

4-     Coordinate with civil technical office and site teams to ensure integration between disciplines and smooth project execution.

5-     Review structure and MEP drawings to identify and resolve any design conflicts or discrepancies.

6-     Prepare and update project schedules, technical reports, and progress updates for management.

7-     Complete quantity surveying requirements and update the related BOQ based on approved drawings and site progress.

8-     Ensure that the site team is provided with the latest approved drawings, specifications, and technical instructions.

9-     Prepare, review, and issue periodic client and subcontractor running invoices according to contractual terms.

10-  Lead the preparation and submission of variation orders, claims, and cost impacts, and follow up with the consultant until approval.

11-  Collaborate with procurement and planning departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

12-  Provide technical support and guidance to site engineers during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.

13-  Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and relevant electrical codes and standards.

14-  Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and support smooth project execution.

15-  Prepare, review, and approve as-built drawings and ensure timely submission to the project consultant.

16-  Support project managers in budget estimation, cost control, and risk analysis.

17-  Train and mentor junior electrical engineers and enhance overall team performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

1- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

2- 15–20 years of experience in the electrical field, particularly in infrastructure and automation projects.

3-Strong background in design review, project coordination, and site supervision.

4-Excellent knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and project management practices.

5-Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office applications.

6-Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
