Job Title: Electrical Technical Office Engineer

Location: Cairo, Egypt

Company: ASC Construction

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed electrical design calculations (load analysis, short circuit studies, voltage drop, cable sizing, protection coordination, lighting design).

-Develop/review electrical diagrams, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD and/or BIM (Revit).

-Specify/select electrical equipment (switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS, MCCs, lighting fixtures, etc.).

-Design grounding/earthing and lightning protection systems.

-Prepare BOQs, MTOs, and technical submittals.

-Review vendor/subcontractor drawings and materials for compliance.

-Provide technical support during procurement and vendor selection.

-Coordinate with subcontractors, monitor progress, and ensure quality standards.

-Oversee as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and testing/commissioning requirements.

Job Requirements:

-Proficiency in AutoCAD, DIALUX, ETAP.

-3–5 years of relevant experience.

-Strong understanding of technical documents and electrical systems.

-Experience in managing construction projects.

-Problem-solving and leadership skills.

-Knowledge of electrical power and low-current systems.

-Strong verbal and written communication skills.
