Job Description

Responsible for leading and supporting the technical aspects of solar projects, including design, documentation, and financial modeling, ensuring compliance with standards and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the preparation of pre-construction files (SLD, project design drawings, technical details, BOQ, etc.) and review tender documents (specifications, drawings, BOQ, method of measurements, and contracts) to ensure alignment with project scope and requirements.
  • Review and validate supplier quotations and material lists; coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications.
  • Prepare and review financial and technical comparison sheets to analyze commercial and technical offers.
  • Ensure timely completion and quality of all design drawings and bills of materials covering project requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and resolve complex engineering issues or construction challenges on-site to avoid delays.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and tools.
  • Implement, maintain, and enhance engineering databases and tools to improve project efficiency and documentation.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy (preferred) or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5–7 years
    of experience in solar engineering or technical office roles.
  • Strong technical and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of solar system design (on-grid, off-grid, and pumping systems).
  • Proficient in engineering software such as PVsyst, PVSol, Revit, and AutoCAD.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with attention to detail and quality.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
