Description

  • The role of the Solar Energy Engineer is to work as a member of the Powergreen Engineering team to design and implement reliable Solar Energy PV systems according to project requirements.
  • This is a customer-facing position that involves relationship building and client management.
  • This is a project oriented job that requires experience in the discipline of project management.
  • This job offers a highly competitive salary package

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Build trust and rapport with prospective customers.
  • Design compelling Photovoltaic Systems including analysis, calculations, research, selection and layout.
  • Project Management
  • Draft proposals that match project specifications.
  • Generate performance reports for implemented projects and specify upgrades when necessary.
  • Oversee project execution to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in engineering, preferably electrical
  • Master's degree would be a plus
  • Excellent knowledge and expertise in Photovoltaic systems and the related design tools as PV Syst, Sketchup, PV Sol, and Autocad
  • General knowledge of Solar Thermal Water Heating Systems is a plus
  • Construction training and experience is preferred
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
  • Works well in a collaborative environment

  • As an engineer, detail orientation and highest degrees of accuracy are a given.
