We are seeking a Civil Steel Detailing Engineer with strong expertise in Tekla Structures and AutoCAD to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed fabrication and erection drawings for structural steel projects, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to project specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using Tekla Structures and AutoCAD.
  • Develop detailed shop drawings, general arrangement drawings, and connection details for steel structures.
  • Coordinate with design engineers, project managers, and fabricators to ensure design intent and constructability.
  • Review and check drawings for accuracy and compliance with project standards.
  • Manage revisions and maintain proper documentation throughout the detailing process.
  • Assist in material take-offs, bill of materials (BOM), and fabrication lists.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field).
  • 0-1 years of experience in steel detailing for civil or industrial projects.
  • Proficiency in Tekla Structures (mandatory) and AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of steel fabrication, erection standards, and codes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
