Senior Data Center Engineer
Are you an experienced professional with a strong background in data center infrastructure and electro-mechanical systems? We're looking for a Senior Data Center Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and operation of our critical IT facilities.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Data Center Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day performance, implementation, and upgrade of data center infrastructure including power, cooling, light current systems (Wi-Fi & CCTV), HVAC, and firefighting.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations at the Data Center site, ensuring optimal system performance.
Monitor project cash flow, performance schedules, PRs/MRs, and resource planning.
Implement Wi-Fi and CCTV solutions for the hospitality sector.
Design and execute infrastructure plans for power, cooling, HVAC, firefighting, and network systems.
Lead capacity planning, upgrades, and system migrations.
Ensure full compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR).
Guide and support engineering teams, technicians, and senior leads.
Manage vendor contracts, procurement, and service agreements.
Develop and maintain monitoring tools, generate reports, and recommend improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Power, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in data center operations.
Proficient in system monitoring tools and management platforms.
Strong knowledge of power, cooling, and electro-mechanical systems.
Familiarity with disaster recovery and business continuity protocols.
Preferred Skills:
Excellent command of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience in drafting daily and weekly project progress reports.
Work Conditions:
Availability for emergency/on-call night interventions.
Physically capable of handling equipment installations when needed.
