Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Project Manager to oversee construction activities on our existing and new projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction principles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. This role involves overseeing construction activities, ensuring quality standards, coordinating with various stakeholders, conducting site inspections, and managing facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Monitor Site progress and identify potential issues or delays.
  • Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure they meet quality standards. Implement quality control measures to minimize defects and rework.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution. Facilitate communication and resolve any conflicts or issues.
  • Inspect the site and prepare a detailed report in accordance with the related Playbook.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
  • Manage relationships with external contractors to optimize the maintenance process.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in site Engineering, preferably interior finishing and FF&E
  • Strong understanding of construction principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in AutoCad, MS and Google programs
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Ability to be on the road 60% of the time.
