Job Title:  GFC Manager

Location: Nasr City

Reporting to : CFO

Job Overview:

The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial activities across the company's three manufacturing plants and SPV.

This includes managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

The Financial Controller will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the financial data, assisting with strategic financial planning, and providing insights into financial performance to support decision-making at the executive level Facilitates and assists the external auditors to carry out their statutory audits and issuance of the financial statements and audit reports and ensures their compliance with audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works in close cooperation with the external auditors of the company so as to complement the audit activities and avoid duplication of effort.
  • Oversee all tax aspects and work closely with the tax consultant and the Egyptian Tax Authority.
  • Design procedures and processes to ensure accounting data is accurate and exhaustive, smooth the operation among the different departments, and ensure the desired controls.
  • Monitor and work closely with governmental authorities such as the Export Incentive Department Financial Reporting and Analysis Lead the preparation and timely submission of accurate financial statements for the company, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and company policies for financial reporting and disclosures.
  • Perform financial analysis to provide insights into the group's financial health, profitability, and operational performance.

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting for management and external stakeholders.

  • Internal Controls and Compliance

  • Develop, implement, and monitor robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international tax laws, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance standards.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure the accuracy of financial records and the effectiveness of controls.

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure operational and financial efficiency, identifying areas for improvement or cost optimization.

  • Cost Management and Profitability Analysis

  • Monitor and analyze production costs, inventory levels, and cost of goods sold (COGS) to ensure alignment with budgeted expectations.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend initiatives to improve profitability across all three manufacturing plants.
  • Work with operational teams to improve cost structures, enhance financial performance, and optimize resource utilization
