Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled
Performance Testing Engineer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing performance tests to ensure the stability, scalability, and reliability of our systems. You will work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to analyze results, identify bottlenecks, and recommend optimizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute performance test plans and scenarios for API and backend services.
  • Use tools such as
    JMeter
    ,
    K6
    , and
    Grafana
    to conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.
  • Identify system performance bottlenecks and work with engineering teams to resolve them.
  • Monitor system behavior during high-load situations and analyze performance metrics.
  • Prepare detailed performance testing reports, including findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define performance benchmarks and SLAs.
  • Automate performance test scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure best practices in performance testing are followed and continuously improved.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience
    in performance testing and engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with
    JMeter
    ,
    K6
    , and performance monitoring tools like
    Grafana
    .
  • Strong understanding of API architecture, backend systems, and microservices performance.
  • Solid knowledge of performance testing methodologies (load, stress, soak, spike).
  • Ability to analyze logs, metrics, and APM data to identify issues.
  • Familiarity with
    CI/CD
    systems and automation frameworks is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
