Job Title: Lean Associate Manager

Function:
Manufacturing

Internally this role is called Associate Manager, Manufacturing Operations.

Overview:
In this role, you will lead the Lean Program for the Cairo site, fostering a continuous improvement mindset. You will engage with the team to identify and eliminate waste, and partner with factory leadership to execute company strategy.

As an Associate Manager, Manufacturing Operations, you will be responsible for executing Manufacturing Excellence initiatives through local teams.

About the Team/Department:
You will report to the Manager, Manufacturing Operations and work closely with the factory leadership team. This role does not have direct reports.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and monitor manufacturing teams on Manufacturing Excellence tools and techniques.
  • Lead loss deployment and focused improvement projects.
  • Lead loss teams, kaizen events and problem solving for break-through projects within manufacturing site.
  • Support and track savings projects on site.
  • Manage and report on monthly key metrics.
  • Focus on capability development across the site, including documentation development and training plan management.

Experience You'll Bring

  • Solid manufacturing experience, ideally in the FMCG industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related studies.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with core technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Power BI, Power Automate, etc.).
  • Experience with digitalization in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize lean six sigma tools.
  • Lean certification (preferred).
  • Leadership and management experience.
  • Fluent in English.
