Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled
CAD Lead
to oversee and guide the production of high-quality engineering drawings. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and solid experience supporting design teams on infrastructure or engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise CAD technicians to ensure accurate and timely delivery of drawings.
  • Review and validate design outputs for quality, standards, and consistency.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams (roads, infrastructure, utilities, etc.) to support project requirements.
  • Manage drawing sets, versions, and documentation.
  • Maintain CAD standards, templates, and workflows across the team.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to junior and mid-level CAD staff.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in CAD production within engineering services (roads, infrastructure, utilities, or similar).
  • Strong command of AutoCAD and relevant drafting tools.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and quality standards.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to coordinate and mentor team members.
