Job Summary:

The
Architect
will support the consultant's design and supervision team in reviewing, coordinating, and controlling the architectural works of the project. The role involves conducting detailed
shop drawing and BIM model reviews
, ensuring compliance with design intent, project specifications, and relevant codes. The candidate will also participate in
construction supervision
, coordination with other disciplines, and quality control of architectural works.

Responsibilities:

1. Design / Shop Drawings Review & Coordination

• Review
  architectural and ID shop drawings
  , ensuring accuracy, completeness, constructability, and compliance with IFC drawings, project specifications, and relevant codes.
• Check and coordinate
  architectural interfaces
  with structural and MEP disciplines to avoid conflicts and ensure design integrity.
• Review and comment on
  materials submittals
  , mock-ups, and samples for architectural finishes and components.
• Support the
  lead architect
  in maintaining the design intent throughout construction.

2. BIM & Technical Review

• Review
  BIM models
  submitted by the contractor for accuracy and coordination (up to LOD 500).
• Perform
  clash detection
  and verify integration of architectural elements using
  Revit
  or
  Navisworks
  .
• Participate in
  model coordination meetings
  and contribute to resolving design conflicts.
• Ensure BIM submissions align with the project's
  BIM Execution Plan (BEP)
  and required LOD.
• Review
  BIM Execution Plan (BEP) against
  EIR (Employer's Information Requirements) and other documents

3. Construction Coordination

• Participate in
  site coordination
  meetings to align design intent with actual construction,
• Conduct site inspections and audits, if needed.
• Collaborate with various disciplines (structural, MEP, ID, Landscape) to resolve clashes.
• Monitor
  installation and fabrication
  processes to ensure quality and adherence to design.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain
  review logs
  ,
  comment sheets
  , and
  inspection reports
  .
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of reviewed submittals through the project's document control system.
• Support in preparing
  architectural progress reports
  and
  quality review summaries
  .

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in architecture (Master's preferred).
• 4–7 years
  of professional experience in
  architectural and ID design review
  and
  construction supervision
  , preferably with a consultant or PMC firm.
• Proven experience in
  shop drawing review
  and
  BIM coordination
  .
• Proficiency in
  Revit
  ,
  AutoCAD
  , and
  Navisworks
  (essential).
• Strong understanding of
  construction methods
  ,
  architectural detailing
  , and
  finishing materials
  .
• Familiarity with
  international building codes
  (IBC, NFPA, ADA) and local authority regulations.
• Good communication and coordination skills; ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Attention to detail and strong documentation discipline

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in
  large-scale or complex projects
  (mixed-use, commercial, or institutional).
• Exposure to
  BIM processes
  in accordance with
  ISO 19650
  standards.
• Experience using
  EDMS platforms
  (e.g., Aconex, BIM360, Asite) is an advantage.
