Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Chief Accountant role located in Cairo, Egypt. The Chief Accountant will oversee and manage financial transactions, prepare accurate accounting reports, and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations. Daily tasks include financial reporting, tax filings, managing budgets, reconciling accounts, overseeing payroll, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The role also involves providing financial guidance to the management team to support strategic financial decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Financial Reporting, Budget Preparation, and Cash Flow Management
  • Strong skills in Tax Compliance, Cost Accounting, and Regulatory Compliance
  • Advanced knowledge in Financial Systems and Accounting Software
  • Experience in Team Leadership, Delegation, and Collaboration
  • Effective Communication, Analytical Thinking, and Problem-Solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACCA certification preferred
  • Minimum 12 years of accounting or financial management experience
  • Experience within industries such as Retail, Technology, or Healthcare is a plus
  • Strong understanding of local Egyptian taxation and financial regulations
