Job Purpose:

To ensure the accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of accounting transactions and payroll data while maintaining financial integrity through SAP Business One. The role combines core accounting responsibilities with payroll review, reconciliation, and system-based financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting & Financial Reporting

  • Record and verify daily accounting transactions in SAP Business One (journal entries, invoices, payments, receipts, etc.).
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations for banks, suppliers, and employees.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Maintain and ensure proper documentation for all accounting entries in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Assist in preparing management financial reports, P&L, and balance sheet analysis.

2. Payroll Review & Processing

  • Review and verify payroll data received from HR, including attendance, overtime, deductions, and bonuses.
  • Ensure payroll entries are accurately reflected in SAP and financial statements.
  • Audit payroll transactions for accuracy and compliance with company policies, labor laws, and tax regulations.
  • Prepare and review payroll-related journal entries, provisions, and reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance for timely salary disbursement and issue resolution.

3. SAP System Use & Optimization

  • Utilize SAP Business One to record, monitor, and analyze financial and payroll data.
  • Generate customized financial and payroll reports as required by management.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements within SAP for enhanced accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide support for SAP audits, upgrades, and data validation.

4. Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure all financial and payroll practices comply with company policies and statutory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by preparing required documentation and reports.
  • Assist in maintaining confidentiality and data integrity of payroll and financial information.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in accounting and payroll functions.
  • Proven experience using
    SAP Business One
    (or similar ERP system).
  • Strong understanding of payroll accounting, local tax, and social insurance laws.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • High integrity and ability to handle sensitive financial data confidentially.

Preferred:

  • Experience in multinational or group company structure.
  • Familiarity with
    ZenHR
    or similar HR/payroll systems (if applicable).
  • CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
