Role Overview

E-Commerce Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the end-to-end digital commercial process for business clients. This includes preparing customized proposals and product portfolios, negotiating commercial terms, handling purchasing and customer orders, and ensuring effective coordination for delivery and returns. The specialist plays a critical role in supporting long-term client relationships and driving growth through e-commerce channels.

Responsibilities

1. Proposal and Product Portfolio Management

  • Prepare tailored proposals and commercial offers for business customers based on specific needs, contract terms, and product availability.
  • Build and maintain product portfolios that match customer requirements and market demands.
  • Update clients regularly with new offerings, pricing changes, or availability updates.

2. Customer Coding and Sales Growth

  • Coordinate with finance, commercial, and IT departments to ensure accurate coding and onboarding of new customers in internal systems.
  • Identify and target potential B2B clients to expand the customer base.
  • Support initiatives that contribute to driving sales growth through digital channels, upselling, and reactivation of dormant accounts.

3. Customer Negotiation and Contract Handling

  • Manage the negotiation of prices, terms, and contractual details with clients.
  • Ensure all contracts and agreements align with company policies and profit margins.
  • Maintain an organized database of client contracts and key deal terms.

4. Order and Purchase Management

  • Process B2B(Amazon , Noon , Jumia( customer orders and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and complete fulfillment.
  • Raise and follow up on purchase orders for inventory needed to meet demand.
  • Track inventory status and proactively resolve availability issues to avoid delivery delays.

5. Returns and Issue Resolution

  • Oversee and coordinate product returns, replacements, and refund processes in compliance with company policy.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for resolving customer issues and complaints professionally and efficiently.

6. Coordination and Reporting

  • Liaise with supply chain, logistics, finance, and IT to ensure smooth order flow and platform functionality.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions, communication, and performance metrics.
  • Prepare periodic sales and operations reports for management review.

Qualifications:

·Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.

·2–4 years of experience in B2B e-commerce, sales coordination, or procurement.

·Strong knowledge of digital commerce platforms, online product catalogs, and CRM systems.

·Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

·Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex client accounts and high-volume transactions.

·Proficiency in Excel and ERP or e-commerce systems
