Senior Foreign Procurement Engineer

Location: Fifth Settlement – Cairo

A leading industrial company is looking for a highly skilled and proactive Senior Foreign Procurement Engineer to join our growing team

Key Responsibilities:


• Identify, evaluate, and select qualified international suppliers for spare parts and technical components.


• Request, review, and analyze quotations to secure the best commercial and technical offers.


• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and warranty conditions.


• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure proper documentation for international shipping & customs clearance.


• Monitor order status and coordinate closely with logistics, customs agents, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery.


• Conduct market research on suppliers, global price trends, and new technologies.


• Ensure all purchased spare parts meet required technical specs and quality standards.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with international vendors.


• Evaluate supplier performance regularly and recommend improvements or replacements.


• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and communications.


• Coordinate with engineering, planning, and maintenance to understand technical needs.


• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, budget limits, and ISO standards.

Job Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.


• 3–5 years of experience in international procurement (preferably in spare parts & technical materials).


• Excellent command of English (written & spoken).


• Strong knowledge of import procedures, INCOTERMS, shipping documents, and international logistics.


• Excellent negotiation & communication skills.


• Proficient in MS Office + ERP systems (Oracle or similar).


• Strong analytical, planning, and decision-making skills.


• Ability to manage multiple procurement requests at the same time.
