Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced
Civil Construction Operations Director
to lead and oversee our Energy and Infrastructure project portfolio across Egypt. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in large-scale civil, infrastructure, or energy projects, with proven expertise in operations management, project delivery, and cross-functional leadership.

This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring project execution within scope, budget, and timeline, and maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for civil construction operations within energy and infrastructure projects.
  • Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale EPC and infrastructure works.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary project teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and corporate strategy.
  • Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Manage budgets, project schedules, risk assessments, and progress reporting.
  • Optimize resource allocation, subcontractor management, and supply chain coordination.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, performance KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, HSE, and commercial teams to support seamless project execution.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, government bodies, and key stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks; drive corrective action plans when needed.
  • Support business development activities, bid preparation, and project estimation inputs.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree is an advantage.
  • 15–20 years of experience in civil construction, energy, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong experience in managing large-scale EPC, Energy, or infrastructure operations.
  • Proven leadership in managing project delivery teams and multi-disciplinary functions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Egyptian construction regulations, permitting, and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple major projects simultaneously.
  • Professional certifications (PMP, PMI-RMP, CM, etc.) are an advantage.
