Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior LogRhythm Implementation Engineer
to support the deployment, configuration, and optimization of our LogRhythm SIEM platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SIEM implementations, advanced security analytics, and operationalizing LogRhythm to enhance our security detection and response capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of the
    LogRhythm SIEM
    platform, including installation, configuration, tuning, and integration with security tools.
  • Design and configure log sources, data pipelines, collectors, agents, and parsing rules.
  • Optimize LogRhythm AI Engine rules, alarms, and use cases to improve threat detection accuracy.
  • Develop and customize dashboards, reports, and analytics to meet security and compliance requirements.
  • Work closely with internal security teams to understand monitoring needs and translate them into actionable SIEM configurations.
  • Conduct security event correlation, workflow automation, and response playbook setup within LogRhythm.
  • Ensure proper onboarding and normalization of logs from diverse systems (network, endpoints, cloud, applications).
  • Perform health checks, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure platform stability.
  • Provide technical documentation, knowledge transfer, and training to internal IT/security staff.
  • Support compliance initiatives and audit requirements through appropriate logging and reporting configurations.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in
    LogRhythm SIEM implementation and administration
    .
  • Strong background in cybersecurity operations, SIEM platforms, and log management.
  • Hands-on experience developing AI Engine rules, alarms, and automation workflows.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows, Linux, firewalls, network devices, cloud platforms, and security tools.
  • Experience with syslog, log transport mechanisms, parsing, and normalization.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus (LogRhythm certifications, SIEM certifications, CISSP, CEH, etc.).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SOAR integrations.
  • Familiarity with threat intelligence feeds and correlation.
  • Ability to work independently as a remote freelancer with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex security events.
