IBDP & MYP Chemistry Teacher

Location: Oxbridge International School – Mirzo Ulugbek Campus, Tashkent -Uzbekistan

Academic Year: 2026–27

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate, experienced IB Chemistry educator who inspires curiosity, scientific thinking, and inquiry-based learning. The ideal candidate combines rigorous subject expertise with innovative pedagogy to support students in Grades MYP & DP.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's in Chemistry or Science Education

6–7 years of successful teaching experience in IB MYP and DP Chemistry

Strong grasp of IB philosophy, standards & assessment (including IA/DP exam prep)

Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

Demonstrated ability to integrate real-world applications and lab-based learning (safety first)

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging MYP & DP Chemistry units aligned with IB S&P

Design and supervise inquiry-based labs and investigations

Prepare students for DP assessments (IAs, Papers 1–3) with feedback-driven practice and MYP e Assessment

Collaborate across departments to strengthen STEM and interdisciplinary learning

Contribute to professional development and whole-school initiatives
