GEMS - TBS (The British School El-Rehab).
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative educator who is passionate about teaching science and committed to fostering a dynamic learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans for secondary science subjects including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and encourage student participation
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, curiosity, and a love for science
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance the science curriculum and participate in school events that promote scientific inquiry
  • Stay current with developments in science education and integrate new findings and techniques into classroom instruction

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field
  • Valid teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) is preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school
  • Strong knowledge of the British secondary science curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for science education and motivating students
  • Commitment to professional development and a collaborative teaching environment
