Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Group Legal Director, based in Giza. The Group Legal Director will oversee and manage legal operations across CPG, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities include providing strategic legal advice, handling legal issues, managing contracts, overseeing mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and ensuring compliance across all areas of the business. The role involves working closely with leadership to minimize legal risks and foster sound decision-making practices.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Law and Legal Compliance
  • Experience in handling Legal Issues and providing counsel on complex matters
  • Proficiency in Contract Management, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts
  • Knowledge and experience with Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) processes
  • Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience in senior legal roles, preferably in the food or manufacturing sector
  • Professional legal degree and active licensure (e.g., LLB or JD) in a relevant jurisdiction
