We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Senior Business Process Management (BPM) Developer
to join our technology team in Cairo. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing complex, high-volume business processes primarily within the
banking and financial services domain
.

Key Responsibilities

·     Design, develop, and implement highly complex, scalable, and efficient BPM solutions using
IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW)

·     Develop BPM applications that integrate seamlessly with core banking systems, external services, and databases, acting as the technical expert for integration points.

·     Autonomously translate ambiguous, high-level business requirements into clear, executable technical specifications and detailed process models using
BPMN

·     Implement sophisticated service orchestration layers, ensuring secure and reliable communication via
SOAP
and
RESTful APIs
, handling complex scenarios like asynchronous messaging and transaction compensation.

·     Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and execute advanced tuning and optimization of deployed BPM applications, databases (SQL, stored procedures), and integration services.

·     Establish and adhere to rigorous development and coding standards. Perform detailed code reviews for peers and ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and maintainable, proactively addressing technical debt.

·     Support the deployment lifecycle, troubleshoot operations and maintenance issues post-go-live, and manage bug fixes for high-impact production systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

·     
3 to 5 years
of progressive Experience, dedicated in BPM solution design and development.

·     Expert-level proficiency with
IBM (BAW)
or
IBM BPM
(including Coach Views, Integration Services, and UCA implementation).

·     
Minimum 4 years of experience
developing business applications specifically within the
Banking, Financial Services, or Fintech
sector.

·     Strong proficiency in
Java
and
JavaScript
for custom service development and UI logic within the BPM ecosystem.

·     Solid experience consuming and implementing
SOAP
and
RESTful
Web Services, and knowledge of enterprise messaging systems like
IBM MQ
.

·     Advanced
SQL
development, including stored procedures, and debugging experience with enterprise-grade databases

Professional Skills

·     Ability to take a large, ambiguous technical problem and break it down into manageable tasks, executing them independently with minimal supervision.

·     Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex, cross-system issues (e.g., race conditions, integration failures).

·     Proven experience working in an
Agile/Scrum
environment.

·     Strong verbal and written communication skills in English for clear articulation of technical decisions to business analysts and architects.
