Responsibilities

Review and analyze contract terms and project specifications to ensure compliance with company standards, legal requirements, and project objectives.

Prepare, draft, and finalize contractual documents, including subcontract agreements, variation orders, claims, and amendments.

Monitor contract execution and performance, ensuring that obligations, deliverables, timelines, and financial aspects are met.

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contract variations and change orders in coordination with project, procurement, and cost control teams.

Support claims management, including gathering documentation, preparing claim justifications, and coordinating with legal teams when required.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders and clients regarding contractual matters, providing advice and clarifications to mitigate risks and protect the company's interests.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

4–6 years of proven experience as a Contracts Engineer in construction companies, preferably on medium- to large-scale projects.

Strong knowledge of contract conditions, such as FIDIC or similar contract frameworks.

Proficiency in contract analysis, cost evaluation, and documentation management.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex contract issues.

Proficient in MS Office, contract management software, and project documentation tools, with strong report-writing abilities.
