Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Facilities Specialist based in Cairo. The Facilities Specialist will oversee and maintain the day-to-day operations of facilities to ensure a safe, functional, and efficient environment. Tasks include managing facility-related projects, coordinating maintenance schedules, supervising repairs and renovations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and liaising with vendors and contractors. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, providing administrative support, and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency within the facilities.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Facility Management (FM) and knowledge of construction and maintenance processes.
  • Strong administration and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting, documentation, and scheduling purposes.
  • Ability to conduct training and ensure staff understanding of safety and operational procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Experience in managing vendors and contractors is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the retail or operations sector, is highly desirable.
