We're looking for an
AI/ML Tech Lead
to join our
Calibre Team
in Cairo, Egypt.

At Calibre, we're transforming our product family through the integration of machine learning and generative AI. As part of our team, you'll play a key role in shaping next-generation technologies that enhance the performance, intelligence, and precision of our products. This is a global-impact role where your work directly influences mission-critical EDA solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement advanced AI/ML solutions that integrate seamlessly with Calibre products and deliver meaningful value to customers.
  • Ensure strong quality assurance and performance across platforms, enabling reliable product releases.
  • Lead strategic technical initiatives, drive innovation, and provide expertise across cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and help steer product direction through technical insight.
  • Build scalable software systems with an emphasis on AI/ML models, performance, and optimization.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a culture of technical excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering.
  • Strong software development experience in Python, Java, or C++.
  • Proven experience building and deploying AI/ML applications in production environments.
  • Hands-on expertise with modern ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, and with GenAI technologies (OpenAI API, LangChain, HuggingFace).
  • Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
  • Experience with large language models (LLMs) and their enterprise applications, technical leadership in AI/ML projects, and contributions to open-source or AI/ML research publications are all preferred.
