Role Overview

We're seeking a Tech Lead – AI/Data
to spearhead the design, development, and deployment of our core AI and data systems. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical expertise in AI and backend engineering with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

You'll play a key role in shaping the comapny's technical direction, leading a small team of engineers, and driving innovation in personalization, recommendation engines, and predictive analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of AI models, data pipelines, and backend systems powering the Sia platform.
  • Oversee end-to-end development of AI-driven personalization and recommendation solutions.
  • Collaborate with product and business teams to translate requirements into scalable data and AI architectures.
  • Build, test, and deploy machine learning models into production environments.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and data scientists, ensuring best practices in code quality and ML operations.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging technologies in AI, data engineering, and cloud infrastructure to enhance platform capabilities.
  • Ensure system reliability, performance, and data security across all deployed solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in AI, data science, or machine learning, including model development and deployment.
  • Previous experience as a backend developer — ideally with Python, , or similar technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.) and data technologies (SQL/NoSQL, Spark, or Kafka).
  • Strong understanding of data structures, APIs, and software architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to fintech or telecom data environments is a strong plus.
