Job purpose:

Execute the subcontracts cycle for the strategic deals in accordance with the subcontracts' policy and procedures in addition to training, mentoring and supervising the subcontracts engineers & subcontracts specialists with following up the daily operational tasks for the subcontracts department in order to achieve the objectives

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

· Study and review the Electronic Subcontracts Requisitions (ESRs) received from the operations for the strategic deals in order to ensure the compliance with the relevant main contracts' requirements and with subcontracts' policy and procedures

· Execute the subcontracts cycle for the approved ESRs of the strategic deals in accordance with the subcontracts' policy and procedures, that is including but not limited to the RFQ, technical and financial comparisons, negotiations with the subcontractors, awarding the subcontracts, executing the subcontracts and uploading the subcontracts via ERP and following up the approval of the subcontracts by SOA

· Review and approve the technical and the financial comparisons of the Subcontracts engineers and the subcontracts specialists before being uploaded via ERP for the review of the SR. Subcontracts manager

· Engage in all Kick off meetings for the new projects and in the subcontracts following up meetings with the operations

·  Follow up and resolve with the team any operational concerns on the performance of the subcontractors on sites

· Following up and resolve any concerns of the subcontractors in accordance with the relevant signed subcontracts

·  Set the priorities of the daily tasks for the team with due communication with the Sr. Subcontracts manager in order to ensure achieving the tasks in accordance with the SLA and with the operational priorities.

·  Assist the subcontracts engineers in the initial evaluation of the new subcontractors for the registrations process

· Do the initial appraisal of the Subcontracts engineers and the subcontracts specialists

Job Requirements:

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering,
• Professional certification in procurement, contract management, or supply chain (e.g., CIPS, PMP, FIDIC training) is a plus.

Experience:

• 10–12 years of experience in subcontract management, procurement, or contract administration within large-scale projects (construction, oil & gas, infrastructure, or similar industries).
• At least 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
• Proven experience in handling strategic or high-value subcontracts.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of subcontracting policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Solid understanding of contract terms and conditions, risk management, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) for subcontract cycle management.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills.

• Leadership and team management abilities (mentoring, supervising, and developing team members).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with internal departments and subcontractors.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
