The Software Developer will be part of the development team and update web applications using Microsoft .NET technology. Utilizing a Software Development Life Cycle, the Software developer will work with technical associates in defining business and technical requirements to develop new functions or redesign/consolidate existing processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receiving tickets on TFS to be developed by the quality control team.
  • Creating CI using TFS with a complex process.
  • Developing software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle
  • Working with a team in building web-based applications using ASP.NET (Webforms), , C3, SQL Server, jQuery, and .NET Framework 3.5
  • Developing features across multiple subsystems within our applications, including collaboration in requirements definition, coding, testing, and deployment
  • Day-to-day maintenance and support of all existing application modules: "Finance, People, Assets, Projects, Services, Resale, Leasing, Sales, Admin Configuration, and Sales"
  • Building new crystal reports and enhancing existing ones as internal business groups request. Further, enhance other reporting technologies to improve the performance and scalability of user demand.
  • Fill in where needed on the development side to ensure daily operations run smoothly without any interruption
  • Created a NuGet server, revised and modified the whole solution to use the new NuGet server

Required Experience & Skills:

Education:

A
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, and Computer Engineering is preferred.

Required Skills:

  • Experience .NET development using C#, .NET, ASP.NET
  • Proficiency in Webforms / MVC is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of using HTML / JavaScript / jQuery / CSS.
  • Excellent knowledge of WCF, JSON, and Web API
  • Complete understanding of the application development life cycle
  • Background in OOP
  • 4+ years of experience.

Advantageous Skills:

  • Have a technical administrative background in operating systems, SQL Server Databases (SQL Server 2008 or above)
  • Have you been using any ERP System
  • Have a good understanding of accounting operations
  • Configuration management experience using the TFS work environment is a plus
